You know what I absolutely love about running Boho Cafe? I get to meet and work with some AMAZING people! And sometimes, those connections lead to the most delicious creations...
So picture this – I'm with the fab Erika from Luka Photography. She's been shooting our beautiful food (capturing all its gorgeousness!), and we're having a blast getting creative together.
Mid-photoshoot, Erika starts telling me about this awesome dish her mum in South Africa used to make – something called a "Breakfast Bomb." It sounded incredible! A complete breakfast wrapped in a muffin – we're talking hashbrown, bacon, sausage, a WHOLE egg, cheese, all baked up and topped with relish. My foodie brain went into overdrive!
"We have GOT to make those here!" Next minute... Erika's mum had WhatsApped the recipe all the way from South Africa. How good is that?!
And that's literally how our now-legendary Breakfast Bombs came to be! It's funny how these things happen, isn't it?
The best bit? A few weeks back, we catered for this group, and one of them turned out to be the dad of our fabulous Ana who works with us. She tells us he can’t stop raving about our Breakfast Bombs. These little breakfast packages have quickly become one of our signature items, and we're absolutely chuffed about it.
