While Boho Café is closed today, we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Waitangi Day - one of the most significant markers in the history of Aotearoa. It's a day of reflection and kōrero/conversation.

Boho Café has always been about bringing people together, and Waitangi Day reminds us of the importance of unity, understanding, and respect for all the diverse communities that make up our beautiful country.

 We encourage our communities to mark Waitangi Day in a way that's special to you with whānau and friends. Get together with your loved ones, share kai, engage in meaningful conversation, and take time to reflect on our shared journey as communities in Aotearoa.

Looking to the Future: As was eloquently expressed by Dame Anne Salmond; there’s great value in learning from our ancestors and their dreams of freedom and opportunity in a new land.
